SERVICES

Professional Writing

Content Writing: As your content writer, I'll take care of everything from research to rough draft to finished article or post. I would need to be credited in this instance.

Ghostwriting: Always wanted to write a book? Deliver a moving speech? Publish engaging social media posts? As your ghostwriter, I'll help you go from ideas to rough draft to finished product. I'll write your entire project but you'll get credited as the author.

Resumes, Cover Letters & LinkedIn Profiles: Whether you want a new resume or cover letter or LinkedIn profile makeover, I will produce industry-standard ATS-compliant personal marketing documents by utilizing proven strategies from TopResume and TopCV as a Certified Professional Resume Writer.

Lyric Writing: As your lyric writer, I'll help you write a song that is tailored to your specific needs and the story you want to tell. Whether you have a beat you want me to write over or just a concept, I'll work with you from idea to execution.

Professional Editing

Line Editing: As your editor, I'll review and improve your manuscript at the sentence and paragraph level by focusing on clarity, style, and flow. I will also elevate the author's voice and the reader's experience by addressing issues like word choice, sentence structure, and rhythm.

Developmental Editing: Whether you have a manuscript that is almost done or at its early stages, I'll help you figure out the "big picture" elements like plot, character development, structure, and pacing. Developmental editing is a comprehensive process that focuses on improving overall coherence and impact of your story.

Copyediting: As your copyeditor, I'll analyse your text for accuracy, consistency, and readability by checking for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax. I'll streamline your sentences, remove jargon, trim unnecessary words, and fix inconsistencies in names, terms, and formatting.

Professional Review

Manuscript Critique: Whether you have a short story you want to submit to literary journals or a poetry collection you want to publish, having worked editorial positions in top literary journals like The Adroit Journal, JMWW, Iron Horse, etc, I'd love to write you a detailed, high-quality critique addressing specific areas of concern you may have and make sure your piece is ready to be sent out into the world!

Promotional Review: If you are an author or artist of any kind and have a new book, play, movie, exhibition, etc coming up, I'll write you a high-quality review that will be published on my blog. If you want to read some of my published reviews, here is one for a cannibal-horror novel, one for a memoir, one for a sci-fi horror movie, and one for a thriller movie.

MFA Applications: As an MFA candidate in Creative Writing, I'm well aware of the stressful application process. My assessment of your MFA application will focus on all aspects: your personal statement, portfolio of original work, and letters of recommendation. I will give you feedback on 10-15 pages of poetry or 15-30 pages of prose with the eye of what creative writing professors and hiring committees look for.

Professional Mentorship

Reading: If you want to hire me to read original work or another writer's work in your school or workshop or bookstore, I'm happy to discuss the specifics.

One-on-one Mentorship & Tutoring: Backed by a global education spanning the US, UK, and India under some of the best authors and professors, publishing record in 25+ literary journals, editorial experience for The Adroit Journal, JMWW, Iron Horse, etc, and university teaching experience in English and Creative Writing to hundreds of students in the US for 3+ years, I'll share all the inside secrets and nitty grittys that will help you navigate the elusive publishing landscape. Whether you want a brief consultation, weekly hour-long sessions or something more customized, I'm happy to tailor the mentorship to your specific needs.

Step 1: Review

After you have completed this form, I review it and make sure your vision matches my ability, standards and availability.

Step 3: It's Official

I will draft up a standard commission contract for you to sign and arrange payment. I usually ask for 50% upfront and for the other half after I have delivered the final documents.

THE PROCESS

Step 2: Discussion

You will receive an unique quote based on your project requirements and delivery timeline. This is when you are welcome to provide a fully elaborate description of what you would want and ask any questions about the process. We will either discuss ideas via email or can arrange a phone or video call if needed.

Step 4: Review

Once I have finished your project on or before the time agreed upon in the contract, I will send it to you for approval. At this stage, you are welcome to ask for corrections free of charge. I will do my best to accommodate your request; however, I do reserve the right to reject these corrections or charge an extra fee if they are extremely excessive and time-consuming.

Step 5: The Final Stage

Once I have made the revisions you requested and received the second half of the payment, I will send you the final documents for approval. At this stage it is possible for me to make small corrections free of charge. I'm happy to make other changes for an extra fee.

Step 6: The Final Product

I will send the final documents to your email address in DOCX, PDF, or whatever format you prefer. You would be able to download them for free and use them in whatever capacity you want.
